The Daily Mail reveals that Keira will star in a new movie called
The Dutchess. It will be based in the book
Duchess of Devonshire written by Amanda Foreman and will be directed by Saul Dibbs and the filming will start in October...
"Keira Knightley will portray one of the most hunted women of her age, a celebrity who married an aristocrat - and just about the only man alive who wasn't in love with her.
No, not Diana, Princess of Wales, but one of her distant kin.
The fifth Duchess of Devonshire was a social powerhouse of the 18th century and Keira will portray her when cameras roll on The Duchess in October.
Born Lady Georgiana Spencer, a great-great-great-great aunt of Diana's, she married the fifth Duke of Devonshire in an arranged marriage, becoming one of the great political hostesses of the era.
She was a smart, ambitious woman who lived life to the full, took lovers and gambled heavily.
According to Amanda Foreman's mouth-watering biography of Georgiana, upon which the film will be based, the duchess's closest friend Lady Elizabeth Foster (known as Bess) became the duke's mistress.
For two decades, Georgiana and Bess shared favours with the duke.
There are other fascinating tales of Georgiana's aristocratic lifestyle, but to learn more you'll have to either read Foreman's award-winning book or wait till director Saul Dibbs's film comes out next year.
Keira had been hoping to have time off this autumn, but couldn't resist the part when she was sent the script, written by Jeffrey Hatcher with some revisions by Dibbs.

Keira's new film
Atonement has been rated a 15 by UK film censors for "very strong language, moderate sex and bloody injuries". It has also been said that the film will last
122 minutes
The UK premiere for
Atonement will be Tuesday 4th September at the Odeon cinema in London's Leicester Square (siz days after the world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, where Keira is confirmed to appear).
Silk has been confirmed for the Toronto Film Festival (between 6th-15th September).

Class from beginning to end, and one would not expect any less from Chanel's new advertising campaign for "Coco Mademoiselle". Chosen for her ability to modernise the brand, yet stay true to its roots, Keira Knightley epitomises all that Chanel embodies. Following in the dainty footsteps of Nicole Kidman, who featured in the most expensive advert ever made, for Chanel No. 5 in 2003, Keira Knightley features in this, their second international advertising campaign. Descending from the rooftops of Paris amidst a backdrop of the Eiffel tower and a shimmering sunset, Knightley tiptoes barefoot into a luxury apartment, with a jazzy rendition of 'L Is For The Way', sung by Joss Stone. The advert may only last 60 seconds, but you are almost instantly immersed in a world of luxury and what Knightley herself referred to as "unbelievable decadence".
She was invited to give her own input into the project while a team of artistic geniuses re-created the 22-year-old as a young and entirely convincing Coco Chanel. The look was refined over a long period of time and a ruby red silk gown was chosen as well as a subtle diamond necklace, a classic combination, harking back to Chanel's own era. Once the style had been perfected, filming began and lasted six days in the studio. However, much of the action takes place outside, in several of Paris' most glamorous locations, notably Place Vendome where Coco Chanel lived for more than thirty years at the Ritz hotel. Several poses were deliberately engineered to mimic those of Coco Chanel, and we see Knightley don a classic bowler hat and white shirt in a number of scenes.
Thirty minutes later, once the behind-the-scenes film has ended and one has a real insight into the world of Coco Chanel and the vision behind this new venture. Knightley would not have looked out of place in the 1940s or 50s, and it is for this reason that she was chosen; to depict a timeless chic that will never fade.
Modern, young and fresh, not forgetting the class, this project is indeed special but not wholly unique. Joining Keira and a host of other celebrities are Kate Winslet as the new face of "Tresor" by Lancome and Eva Green, representing "Midnight Poison" by Christian Dior.

By the sounds of it, Keira is doing more singing, following Pirates, in her new film,
The Edge of Love:
' Keira Knightley was insistent she couldn't carry a tune, but John Maybury, director of her latest movie, a wartime drama about Dylan Thomas, two wives and a jealous husband, begs to differ.
He jokes: "In the Thirties it was 'Garbo talks!' Well, now it's 'Knightley sings!'
When I hear her sing Love Locked Out, one of several numbers in the film, I'm impressed with her voice, which, as her singing teacher Claire Wilford observed, "has got hold of the vulnerability of the character".
"At least it is my singing voice," Keira told me. "It isn't great, but it's passable." '

I've just stumbled upon some new stills from the new POTC, and as I haven't got a gallery cause I can't get proper hosting that supports PHP *sobs*, I've decided to just put a link to the URL below. All of them are really stunning - can't wait 'til it comes out. The rest of the stills can be found at
KeiraWeb, but since these three are the only ones with Keira in them, they are the only ones that I've put up.
Also added a couple more wallpapers, and thats about it! =)
